Privacy Policy
Last updated 18 June 2026
This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short and plain — the same standard we hold the product to.
1. Who we are
Asator Consulting is the trading name of Jakub Bombár, a sole proprietorship (živnosť) registered in Slovakia. We are the controller responsible for your personal data collected through asatorconsulting.co.uk.

This policy covers our public website only. When we provide monitoring services to a client, the handling of any data under that engagement is governed by the separate written agreement we sign with that client.
2. The data we collect
We collect personal data in two ways:
- When you contact us. If you use the enquiry form or email us, we receive the details you provide — typically your name, your firm, your email address, the sources you care about, and the contents of your message. The form does not store anything itself; it opens your own email client to send the message to us.
- Technical data. Like any website, our hosting provider may process limited technical information (such as IP addresses and standard server logs) to deliver the site securely and reliably. We do not use this to identify you.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other sites. See our Cookie Policy.
3. Why we use it, and our legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and prepare any report or proposal you ask for — on the basis of taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- To operate and secure the website — on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a safe, functioning site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business — our email and hosting providers, acting as processors on our behalf — and only as far as needed. Some providers may process data outside the EEA or UK; where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses). We may also disclose data where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you follow up, then delete it. If we enter into a contract, relevant records are kept for the period required by law (for example, accounting records).
6. Your rights
Under the EU and UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to data portability, as well as the right to withdraw any consent. To exercise any of these, email jakub@asatorconsulting.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
7. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to a supervisory authority. In Slovakia, that is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (dataprotection.gov.sk). In the UK, it is the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
